can’t download

i can’t download i’m tryng but when the download is completed it come again to the begin : /

I bought it but it can run on my macbook air

I bought It but I can’t play it. I got a message that it is not compatible with my macbook air. How this can be possible? It is on the Apple Store, with a big ad, there is no information about compatibility with mac book air. So, if I am not able to play it, I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!

Keeps showing an error and then does not open!

Upon opening, it keeps showing the following error: “Damaged downloaded content”, then it displays a message implying that it will return to the home screen. I could not now reach the gaming menu and could not play any more. This is definitely a well defined bug in the game. Please fix it, the game is not free of charge!!!

Don’t buy it

Bad controls, impossible to drive, even with all assist on and very easy level. Also slow to load. Never believed driving on my favourite F1 track (Spa) would be such a miserable experience

Great once you get a hang of it

The overall gameplay is amazing. For the first little bit it seems impossible to turn corners at high speeds, but after an hour or so you get the hang of it. The controls however can be difficult to use when first starting to play considering you are using a keyboard. Occasionally when I booted up the game (and it automatically checked for downloadable content) it would say the downloaded content was corrupt. It would then force me to the game’s main menu and then the process would repeat until the game would crash after about the third time. So far that is the only bug I’ve found. The graphics are pretty good, it is nifty how they have an automatic graphic settings option (so then you don’t have to repeatedly cycle through all the graphical options) to determine the perfect lagless configuration for your computer. Other than this it is an amazing racing game so you should definitely buy it, however it is slightly overpriced in my opinion.

Nothing short of a masterpiece!

Whereas GRID was superb, GRID 2 is yet one notch above, despite the removal of the cockpit view, which I rarely used anyway, If at all. The gameplay, the handling of the cars, the variety and extraordinary graphical quality of the venues make this game an absolute masterpiece. I believe Codemasters have stricken a perfect balance between arcade and simulation style of racing. No matter what, it remains challenging, but accessible. Considering the capital invested in the production of such a title, there is not a penny that you spend on it that is unwarranted. Yes, it is that good.

Fun if it runs

Great fun, especially when playing with a gamepad. It appears to have an unresolved bug that sends me back to the title screen due to “errors downloading online content”. If I ignore this error the game eventually freezes.

Bug

The damage content still exsists and more often shows up. Additionally, the metal painting seems uglier before update as reflections are reudced. The serious problem is those flashlight next to the racing track, sometimes they are too bright to see where I should go, making me fall far behind. Addtionally, under many circumstances, my car is rotating in the sky!!!! Please fix those problems.

Works great even with Mac Mini 2012

I hooked my Mac Mini to my HDTV using HDMI. Paired up my wireless PS4 controller. After playing it for one hour, I completely forgot that I was NOT using a console machine.

Plays good the first time

when loading in to save file it says damaged content please redownload and kicks you out to game menu.

Almost all the time it refuses to let me play.

GRID 2: Reloaded Edition itself is a great game, with lots of really nice cars to choose from(Although including some Lamborghini’s and Ferrari’s would’ve made it slightly better), and really nice tracks. The one really annoying thing in the game is the “Damaged Content” warning. It shows up almost everytime I try to play the game, no matter what resolution I choose. Please fix this issue, because I can’t play the game like this(Opening the app 10 times in a row just to get it to work).

GRID 2 RE

This is probably the best racing i have ever played! Amazing realistic 3D graphic and lifelike game! Love it :D Thanks Guys!

Graphics problems!

There is a graphics trouble after the last update - cars are spinning so it’s impossible to play at all!

Great port! Works with PS3 controllers!

There’s a shortage of racing games on the Mac…. Especially racers that strike a good balance between arcade racer and driving simulator… The controls are mostly on the arcady side, but the physics are smooth and well done. It’s great fun if you wreck and witness the other (computer controlled) cars wrecking— the AI for the opponents are imperfect and they will sometimes wreck on their own. This is a good addition to casual racers that want to fly through city streets for a few minutes…. but don’t feel like investing a whole lot of time (and money/hardware) to do so. Most races are around 5 minutes. This game also works with existing Playstation 3 controllers via Bluetooth. Just make sure your PS3 master power is switched off (or unplugged) so it doesn’t link up to it first. Press the PS button, go to the Mac’s bluetooth setting and connect. You’ll need to verify that it sees it before launching the game. It’ll also work with Logitech racing wheels but I’m not that serious a racer… To avoid complaints: VERIFY YOUR SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS BEFORE PURCHASING. I have a Mac Mini i7 with AMD Radeon (256MB dedicated RAM) so I can’t do super high detail, but I’ve found I don’t need it. I run at 960x600 with 4x supersampling (I prefer smooth looking lower res rather then raw looking high res) and it still does around 40fps most of the time- more then good enough for racing.

No Online Multiplayer Support :(

This game is great except for the fact that it only supports offline split screen multiplayer. On the other hand, the Steam version allows multiplayer (but for $5 more). I have no clue why this is the case...

I didn’t think my computer was up for this

I have a simple Macbook Pro with 8 GB or RAM and an i7 processor. I honestly doubted an intel 4000HD graphics card was going to run this game but I couldn’t be more wrong. I was able to run it at the high quality mode at 25 fps which isn’t all that bad. At medium setting I could easily play at 34 fps which was just fantastic, it doesn’t reduce the quality of gameplay all that much honestly. I didn’t give five stars because as aforementioned by a former customer, there is no online multiplayer support :/ which is really all that I needed after I’m finished with the game. DO BUY though! - if you’re into real life racing in different terrain at day or night.

Cannot be downloaded

As is said above. I have at least 15GB free space but why? Juses...

Ridiculous Spec Requirements

Will not run on a Mac Pro with a Quad Core 2.66 GHz Xeon Processor with 12GB of Memory and an NVIDIA Graphics card with 512 MB of VRAM. The list of Macs it will run on must be very, very short.

something is wrong

i have to set my own controls, i can’t upgrade my car(s) at all. and now when it updated it is glitiching like crazy. make sure you have some space before you up date

Game won’t launch

Just bought this a day ago. After the game has been installed, it doesn’t even open. Just seems to hang while loading. I tried out the same game from Steam and worked just fine. Not sure if there’s something else wrong. Sent an email to Feral support and leaving a review here as well. Not exactly sure what else to do. Using late-2013 rMBP (13”).
