you get to drive like the best cars in the world!! i am realy got at this game!

This game is fun to play, and runs just fine on my Macbook Air with an HD4000 and 8GB of RAM, but it constantly has issues with “Downloadable content” which render the game unplayable and send me back to the title screen. I’ve re-downloaded the game twice and the issue has come up again and again.

its a good game but its very hard to control the actual car, but worth it because you get almost 30 extra cars than the regular version

Just now I relaunched the game and again and again got the message telling me I have damaged content files, and must again re-download the game. It is a bug.

Worked fine for awhile on my MBA 2014/HD5000/8GB Ram, then an error happens where it says the download content is damaged. Game resets and then it says it again. Only thing I downloaded for the game was the game. No add-ons or anything special. Was pretty fun when it was working though.

The game runs perfectly on my iMac i7-16mb ram,4gb video. I can deal with the stupid sensless neon flashing lights that blind you for large periods of time. Even the dumn story line is tolerable. But… Cockpit view is NOT an option? c’mon. You can dumb down a good racing simulator and make it Arcade Style, and still leave SOME realism. The game has nowhere near the realistic driving experience of Grid1. Even with all Assists Off, it drives like you have traction control and stability control compared to Grid1. But hood view is the worst. You cannot tell when you first start to slide, especially if you have a car with a solid color hood. Its almost impossible to notice subtle turns. You do not have the rising and lowering of camera from acceleration and braking that you do in Grid1. I’m using a wheel and pedals. Nothing is “wrong” except the game has taken a turn to the “cheesy Asphalt/Need for Speed style” Bring back cockpit view, and the rest can be delt with. If you want a realistic driving experience stick with Grid1 (and Dirt3 is pretty impressive).

i can’t reinstall this game

The game has become unplayable recently. There is huge latency and lag. I wish I got it from steam also. I recomend getting a diffrent racing game.

Honestly this game is/was utterly fantastic, for the 4 hours it worked. Then I closed it down. Next time I opened it up again, I had the same “Downloadable Content” issue that others are having. That sends me back to the main screen, so basically all I can do is look at one menu, and pray that it works next time. I did contact Feral Interactive, and while they tried to be very helpful, ultimately it came to nothing. They said that the issue is with an OS X coding for integrated graphics, and it would not be fixed until Apple updated their OS. This was in November, 2014. Since then I’ve updated to every public and beta release of OS X, and tested GRID 2. None have worked. This brings me to the painful conclusion that unless you have a discrete graphics card, you should not get this game. I will be awaiting the day I can change this review, because the game itself is honestly spectacular. (It drove me to buy an Xbox One for Forza and Project Cars, hoping for GRID 3). Also - I use a Dualshock 4 and it worked great. MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Mid 2014) 3.0 GHz Intel Core i7 (Dual Core) 16 GB DDR3-1600 Intel Iris - 1536 MB

Just wasted $$ on this. I have the top of the line mbp retina with a dedicated graphics card. Game seems to launch although it’s just the dialog part. It just stays there after I hit play. What a waste..

I keep getting this error “Damaged Content” and the game keeps kicking me back to the title screen. Frustrated… would have been a sweet game but the bug ruins it… Waiting for patch perhaps...

the was run very good for the first two day then later the game gets a lot of lag. can you guy give a upgrade with bug fixes. PLEASE

I’ve played Gird couple years ago on windows, and now Grid 2 is on Mac. Cheer up! What a fantastic game with great graphics and realistic physics engine. 10 out of 10, hands down the best racing game eva :D

This game crashes all the time

The game won’t launch on my 2013 MBP Retina.

I’ved played many racing games, including the first Grid, but this is the first one that has literally thrown a wall up preventing me from progressing. I have not gotten past the first club race(go ahead and laugh).I’ve tried at least 10-15 sessions and multiple times per session to finish this race in the top 3, and each time I end up hitting good ol’ command Q before I throw my controller through my screen. I made it farther in the first game of this series, but this just disgusts me. Codemasters, this is not fun at all. I’ve owned this game for over 2 months with no progress. So, until I purchase a racing wheel to try that out, I’ll be uninstalling this game.

Feral did a nice job with the conversion as far as maintaining the graphics and performance. I really enjoy playing the game but it’s hampered by a couple of bugs that should be easy for the developer to fix. 1) Unless you launch Game Center ahead of time, the game will not launch on Yosemite. A simple script in the launch file would fix this, but Feral so far haven’t done so. 2) The game will constant complain about damaged files, and bounce you back to the main screen, although oddly it does save your progress (so thinks you completed the race). Other reviews point this out, and this version is now more than 7 months old, so a fix is waaaay overdue. Feral are usually quite decent at fixing problems, but they’ve let Grid 2 fester for too long. Given the fiull price of the game ($44.99, and the Windows version is half the price) it’s very frustrating they remain after such a long time.

I’m really angry about this app. It still shows me that I have damaged content so I couldn’t play the game. I found out that this is not only my problem, but many other users are complaining about that. Please fix it!!!

This game is almost unplayable because of bug devs won’t fix, after you create a player you’ll eventually be told content corrupted and have to start all over again with new driver profile, which will also get corrupted and so on and so on… Too bad because tracks and cars are beautiful, surprised after all the work, they would let it die on the vine like this. GRID 3 Reloaded Again anyone?
