This game is GOLD, But….

Honestly this game is/was utterly fantastic, for the 4 hours it worked. Then I closed it down. Next time I opened it up again, I had the same “Downloadable Content” issue that others are having. That sends me back to the main screen, so basically all I can do is look at one menu, and pray that it works next time.

I did contact Feral Interactive, and while they tried to be very helpful, ultimately it came to nothing. They said that the issue is with an OS X coding for integrated graphics, and it would not be fixed until Apple updated their OS. This was in November, 2014. Since then I’ve updated to every public and beta release of OS X, and tested GRID 2. None have worked.

This brings me to the painful conclusion that unless you have a discrete graphics card, you should not get this game. I will be awaiting the day I can change this review, because the game itself is honestly spectacular. (It drove me to buy an Xbox One for Forza and Project Cars, hoping for GRID 3).

Also - I use a Dualshock 4 and it worked great.
